People’s Health & Wellness Clinic (PHWC) is excited and honored to announce that the organization has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation to aid in the purchase of dental equipment. The grant funds will be used to purchase an ultrasonic scaler with air polisher, a smaller size x-ray sensor, scaler tips and polishing powder for the ultrasonic scaler with air polisher, and dental supplies for patients such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss.

[Barre, Vt.] – People’s Health & Wellness Clinic (PHWC) is excited to announce that Daniel
Barlow has been named as the organization’s new Executive Director.
“Dan brings to People’s Health and Wellness Clinic a wealth of experience in nonprofit
leadership, health policy, fundraising and relationship building,” according to Kenley Freeman,
President of the PHWC Board of Trustees. “Dan is a nationally recognized champion of health
care for all persons, regardless of income, demographics or job status. His leadership will help
guide the Clinic as we further develop ways to serve the Central Vermont Community in our
‘new’ historic building on Church Street in Barre.”

The Bowl-a-thon is temporarily postponed and will be researched as soon as possible. Proceeds from the annual event support the clinic to provide free, comprehensive healthcare and preventative services for Central Vermonters who are uninsured or underinsured. Funds raised spare the costly burden that otherwise strike local hospitals, emergency personnel, and community members when patients need care but cannot afford it.
