Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Case Manager
Joanne has been practicing for 42 years as a Dental Hygienist in Vermont, in private practices and in clinics for the past 20 years. She was also the Tooth Tutor with the Vermont Department of Health and an Outreach Educator to schools in the Northeast Kingdom.
Joanne is the Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Case Manager at PHWC. In her profession, her biggest passion and reward is getting patients to realize that they deserve a healthy smile. Joanne provides dental cleanings, exams, x-rays, oral cancer screenings, caries (cavity) stabilization, and coordinates referrals to our network of dentists. She empowers patients to develop a preliminary treatment plan and helps patients to obtain financial assistance for their dental needs.
Beyond the dental chair, Joanne is passionate about music and theater. She has been in the theater for over 50+ years. She performs with and manages the Vermont Fiddle Orchestra and plays fiddle and mandolin. She also manages the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. In her free time, Joanne enjoys having fun with her pup, Rita and teaching her tricks!
