BOWLATHON FUNDRAISER RAISES OVER $8,000 FOR PEOPLE'S HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLINIC
BARRE, VT – People’s Health & Wellness Clinic is thrilled to announce the remarkable success of this month's Bowlathon fundraiser, which raised over $8,000 in support of the 501c3 nonprofit charity.
The Bowlathon, held at Twin City Family Fun Center in Berlin, VT on Saturday, November 4, brought together community members, local businesses, and supporters of accessible healthcare. Participants showed their enthusiasm and commitment to the cause, turning a morning of friendly bowling competition into a powerful fundraising event.
The generous contributions from sponsors, individual donors, and event participants have exceeded our initial goal, showcasing the community's dedication to improving healthcare accessibility for all. The funds raised will directly benefit the People's Health and Wellness Clinic, enabling them to continue providing vital services to those in need.
"We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our community. The success of this Bowlathon not only demonstrates the collective power of our community but also reaffirms our shared commitment to ensuring quality healthcare for everyone," said Daniel Barlow, the clinic’s executive director.
More than 60 people participated in the event with bowling teams raising money from friends, family members, and neighbors in support of the clinic’s mission. Gifts and prizes from local businesses were awarded to players and teams throughout the event.
The event also received significant support from area businesses as sponsors. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont was the underwriting sponsor of the event and gold level sponsors included The Alchemist, VSECU, Trow & Holden Company, Concept2, and Gendron Building. National Life Group was a silver level sponsor.
PHWC extends its deepest gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the Bowlathon. Together, we are making a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community.
“We are already making plans for next year,” said Barlow.
